Well, it's official. Chris is officially a 30-something! We began his birthday celebration by watching Haley ... um, play? ... soccer. She actually just stands on the field and cries. (Given her penchant for drawing a million pictures a day while singing "High School Musical" at the top of her lungs, I'm starting to think that the arts might be more her thing.)
We ended the evening on a happier note, enjoying a yummy birthday dinner at La Dolce Vida and then heading home for German chocolate cheesecake. (Which I of course ate even though I was totally stuffed. There's always room for cheesecake!) Happy birthday, Chris!
