You know that scene in the movie Rudy when Rudy Ruettiger walks through the portal at Notre Dame Stadium for the first time? That's me every time I'm at Lavell Edwards Stadium. There's something about the energy of 64,000 people hitting you at all once as you emerge from the shadows of the portal and into the sunshine on the field ... I always feel like I should start chanting, Rudy! Rudy!So when Chris, my dad and I went to the game on Saturday, my joy could not be dampened even by the fact that my husband had decided that it was close enough to Halloween to pull out his Kid Rock look.
When Carter saw Chris, he asked, "Daddy, why do you look like that? Are you Hannah Montana?" I'd call that a win for the Gipper.

That is hilarious. Chris is freakin funny! I love BYU football so much too! It really was devistating that they lost to TCU.. I actually had to remember "It's just a game!" The game Sat was too close!! It does make for a more exciting time...exciting and tortuos(sp?) angst!
