I {Heart} Mother's Day

The festivities began on Friday, when the first grade put on a Mother's Day Program. I of course fought back tears the entire time because my baby girl is getting so big! Haley also gave me the nicest card ever and a cute potted flower.
Sunday morning, Chris made me breakfast in bed (a real sacrifice because he had to get up at the crack of dawn to do it since we have early church). My big kids serenaded me while I ate,

and I received many more beautiful cards and pictures from my little family.
That afternoon I took a nap, which is a rarity and treat for me, and then my dad and brother made a delicious dinner at my parents' home that evening. Thanks to everyone for the great day - I love my family so much!

I took a nap too! But in my house, I had to demand to take a nap!
I love the film of the kids singing... They look so cute when they wake up... I wish I could say the same about myself.

So glad that you had a good day...I'm sure that things are pretty hectic right now for you Konold's so I'm glad you got a restful day.
