Sad But True

When Evan Lysacek began skating his Olympic short program the other night, I quickly recognized his music as Igor Stravinsky's Firebird. How, you might ask, did I know the title and composer of that particular piece of music? Was it because of my high school AP Music class, or my Music 101 class at BYU? No. Sadly, it was because Stravinsky's Firebird is the featured music in an episode of Disney's Little Einsteins.

Maybe we watch a lot of that show around here. But seriously, nothing else on planet earth can give me 30 minutes of this:... which is particularly nice while I'm trying to cook dinner.

Love it. Cartoons these days are great, aren't they? I learn too!

Little Einsteins is a great show. I wish my kids would want to watch it instead of Spongebob kill you braincells pants.

That's what I looked like for the two weeks the Olympics were on. Your kids are growing up super fast. By the time I actually get to met them in person they will be teenagers. Hope you are enjoying your new home!!
