Haley created a masterpiece for her school's Art Expo. The theme this year was
My Favorite Things, and Haley's picture is entitled "Beach Day." I'm a little nervous about what this picture says of Haley's subconscious. You see, the drawing shows Chris in the water and me in a lounge chair with an umbrella drink, oblivious to the fact that the twins are about to be attacked by a giant crab! Oh, that picture just made my day! There are so many things about it that I just love. I love that the twins are in a playpen; swaddled on a hot summer day and each have a mobile. I love that you are the only one with a "cool beverage", and I love that the crab is a happy crab and he wouldn't hurt a fly, let alone the twins.
Good work Haley! You are truly an EXCELLENT artist!
It's pretty sad that my 5 year old niece draws better than I do! That picture is hilarious by the way! My favorite is how Katie is just chillin'! That's ok, Kate, that just means Haley thinks that you deserve a break! ;)
That picture just makes up for the time Haley said you dream about working. Wasn't that Haley,or was that someone else's blog. Anyway, the twins are safe in the playpen. By the way, tell Haley she is a superb artist. Ben is still just drawing stick people.
