Haley played in her second piano recital on Tuesday. I was so proud of her! Her first song, the theme from The Pink Panther, was really hard for her and she struggled with it a lot. A few times during the song I was afraid that she might give up and leave the piano, but she stuck with it and made it to the end of the song. Afterward she said, "I almost had to make up a new ending because I couldn't remember how the song goes!"Haley took some time during intermission to regroup and played her second song, Le Tambourin, beautifully.
We're so sad that Kallie won't be Haley's teacher any more! Kallie has been so wonderful with Haley. I'm forever in her debt.

I'm sad too. . .:( but so proud of Haley that I was all but crying during the recital. I'm afraid I have been spoiled by such a good student that I will be frustrated by any future students.
She was awesome. I can't believe how good she is, and brave to just ignore her mistakes and keep pushing on. Super job!
